Prof. Nitin V. Pujari is a distinguished academic and administrator, currently serving as the Dean of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at PES University, Bengaluru. Since joining PES in 1991, Professor Pujari has played a vital role in the institution’s academic vision, contributing more than three decades of expertise in teaching, leadership, and research His career trajectory at PES University reflects steady advancement and broad impact. He began as a lecturer in 1991, progressing to Assistant Professor and Head of the Department by 1997. By 2003, he became Professor and Head, and later served as Chairperson of both the undergraduate and postgraduate Computer Science Engineering (CSE) departments. Since 2019, he has led the IQAC, fostering a culture of continuous academic improvement and institutional effectiveness As Dean, he has Conducted and/or Participated in innumerable initiatives to enhance teaching quality, student learning outcomes, and organizational best practices through robust quality assurance frameworks. Nitin V. Pujari’s research interests include Education Data Mining, Learning Analytics, Taxonomy in Education, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Operating Systems. His work is reflected in numerous scholarly publications, including journal articles and conference proceedings that explore practical applications of machine learning and analytics in education. Noteworthy publications cover diverse areas, such as automated question bank generation, sign language recognition, cloud computing evangelism, and neural network-based product recognition He has guided a host of student research and capstone projects, focusing on innovative problems like real-time video analysis, educational taxonomy, and social network-driven recommendation systems. As the Principal Resource Person for the PES-IBM Collaborative Program and leader of several AICTE-sponsored modernization projects, he has consistently bridged academic theory with practical implementation in both curriculum development and research In addition, Nitin V. Pujari is also an entrepreneur and founder of Ordell Ugo, a virtual entity framework established in 2012 to enhance the meta-cognitive skills of participating students at PES University. His dual role as innovator and mentor has enabled him to combine technical insights with pedagogical advancements, preparing students for emerging challenges in computer Science Nitin V. Pujari’s distinguished career is characterized by a commitment to excellence in education, innovation in learning analytics, and leadership in academic quality assurance. His holistic approach—spanning instruction, research, administration, and community service—continues to influence computer science education in India and inspire future generations of learners at PES University.
