Dr S.Natarajan has five decades of experience spanning Research and Development and Teaching. He has 140+ research articles in reputed Conferences and Journals. He has guided 7 Research Scholars towards PhD. He is also reviewer of Journal articles of IEEE, Springer and Elsevier. During the initial 5 years he was involved in Software development for Missile Technology at Defence Research and Development Laboratory, Hyderabad .This was followed by nearly three decades of work at National Remote Sensing Centre, Hyderabad of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in Software Development for both Satellite and Aircraft. Apart from these, he was Project Manager of Ground Control Point Library for High Resolution Satellites as well as Deputy Project Director for Large Scale Mapping for the entire country. These two Projects were executed for the first time in India. He then entered Academic Field. He was Professor and key Resource Person in the Department of Information Science and Engineering for 10 years at PES Institute of Technology at Bangalore. Currently he is Professor and Key Resource Person in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at PES University. He has conducted three International Conferences in Content Based Image and Video Retrieval.
