Dr. Basasvaraja B. M. is working as an Assistant professor at Department of Science and Humanities (Chemistry), PES University, Bengaluru. He has 9 Years of teaching experience and 6 years of research experience. He has completed Master's degree (Fourth Rank) from Department of Industrial Chemistry, Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta, Karnataka. He got his Ph.D. in Organic chemistry from Kuvempu University under the guidance of Dr. H. M. Vagdevi. He was Senior project associate working with Dr. S. Sundar Manoharan at Department of Chemistry and Project scientist working with Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Uttarpradesh, India. His research interests include synthetic organic chemistry and nanostructured materials for energy storage applications. He has taught inorganic, organic chemistry course to post graduate students and Engineering chemistry to first year B. Tech. students. He has several national and international publications to his credit. He has guided several post graduate students for their project. Presently guiding two Ph.D. students at PES University.
