Dr. Roopa Ravish, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, & Member of Centre for Internet of Things (CIoT), Center for Information Security, Forensics and Cyber Resilience (C-ISFCR) PES University, Bengaluru She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Technology from Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET), Davangere. She earned her Master's degree and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from RV College of Engineering under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Karnataka. Dr. Roopa has extensive experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and industry collaboration. Her teaching portfolio spans a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Python Programming, Java Programming, Computer Networks, Network Security, Cybersecurity Essentials, Advanced Computer Architecture, Computer Organization, Microprocessors, Digital Design, Linear Algebra, Statistics for Data Science, Research Methodology, Intelligent Vehicles, Mobile and Autonomous Robotics, Internet of Things, Machine Learning and related emerging technology domains. Her research interests include Automotive Cybersecurity, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber-Physical Systems, Network Security, Artificial Intelligence for Smart Mobility, Machine Learning, and Intelligent Autonomous Systems. She is particularly interested in developing secure, resilient, and intelligent solutions for next-generation connected and autonomous transportation systems. Dr. Roopa has authored two books and published 24 research papers in reputed journals and international conferences. Her research proposal titled “Self-Evolving Transport Networks: Algorithmic Optimization of Multimodal Mobility Through Graph Neural Network Architecture and Hybrid Computing” received recognition among leading industry-sponsored research initiatives in advanced software systems. She has actively contributed to Research coordination, curriculum development, postgraduate program coordination, quality assurance initiatives, accreditation activities, student mentoring, and fostering industry-academia collaborations. She has played a key role in enhancing academic processes and promoting research-driven learning environments. Dr. Roopa's current academic vision is to establish excellence in Automotive Cybersecurity, Intelligent Mobility, and Software-Defined Transportation Systems through impactful research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovation-driven education.
