Dr Rupa Sarkar is a faculty of Quantitative Techniques, Business Economics and Marketing Research at the Department of Management and Commerce, PES University of Bangalore. Her areas of expertise include Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, Health Economics, Behavioural Economics. Dr Sarkar's work has been 1ed at respected peer-reviewed journals, such as Journal of Health Management, Indian Journal of Health Research and Development and Indian Journal of Community Health. She has been selected to present her research at top national accounting conferences, including the Indian Association for Research in National Income and Wealth. Her Doctoral Degree is from Department of Economics, supervised by Dr Mahesh E, Christ University, Bangalore, overseen and evaluated by Dr K. Gayithri, Professor, Centre for Economic Studies and Policy, ISEC, Bangalore. Dr Sarkar also has a Master's Degree in the Discipline of Education from the School of Education, Christ University, Bangalore. She has contributed in the field of Education through Scopus indexed journal publications, UGC Journal publications, book chapters and research presentations in National and International conferences. Before joining PES University, Dr Sarkar was working in Christ University, Bangalore. Dr Sarkar has a rich teaching experience of more than 7 years and she has taught over 30 papers in Economics and Education.
