About

Amina Khan received her B. Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Islamic University of Science and Technology, Jammu & Kashmir, India in 2015 and M. Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Jammu & Kashmir, India in 2017. She received her Ph.D. in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, katra, India on research topic "Unified self-configurable network architecture optimized for disaster detection and recovery", in 2023. Her area of interest is Wireless Sensor Network, Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks and UAV Networks. She has published many articles in the reputed International journals and prestigious conference proceedings, and an author of many book chapters as well. She has been serving as a reviewer for several leading journals under Wiley and Elsevier.

Research Interest

  • My research focus on establishing strategy for allocating resources and optimal placement of a group of UAVs to offer wider wireless coverage area for Disaster Management System. It also focus on developing a collaborative approach between multi-UAVs and SAR Team to boost connectivity between them and to efficiently govern the disaster area.
