Dr. Sourav Das is an emerging researcher in the field of nanochemistry and biomedical sciences, with a strong focus on the development of functional nanomaterials for cancer diagnosis and targeted therapy. His research integrates synthetic chemistry, materials science, and biological applications to design innovative nanoplatforms for drug delivery, bioimaging, and theranostic systems. He carried out his doctoral research at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, where he worked extensively on advanced nanomaterials with potential biomedical applications. Deeply committed to both research and education, Dr. Das believes in fostering curiosity-driven and interdisciplinary learning among students. His teaching approach emphasizes conceptual understanding, scientific inquiry, and the integration of modern research into classroom learning. He is particularly interested in mentoring young researchers and creating an academic environment that encourages innovation, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving. Through his work, he aspires to contribute meaningfully to translational healthcare research while nurturing the next generation of scientists and innovators.
